You need to decide what you want. For myself, I'm putting a 12" JL Audio W7 subwoofer in my Z. Everyone at my work says it is waaaay overkill, but that's what I'm after. If you just want easy listening with a more full sound, one 10 will be adaquete. If you want to thump a little more, you can do two 10s which will have fast response, but cannot hit the really low frequencies. If you want deep bass that can hit really low frequencies, get a 12. Just decide what you want and also, what kind of music do you listen to? That plays a big factor also.
